Rolfing is a whole-body system of health care and personal development. Rolfing focuses on the structure of the body, with the intention of releasing lifelong patterns of tension. This brings better posture and balance to the body; health improves, and chronic pain often disappears. The body stands and moves more gracefully, and with a sense of ease and comfort. Rolfing is performed in a series of ten distinct sessions. Slow, direct pressure is used to gently lengthen and return the body to its original symmetry and balance, achieving the optimal alignment for that person.
